Would highly recommend George and his team. Our original floor was fitted around 10 years ago and was in need of some TLC. General sanding and... oiling. George explained the process and the work absolutely met with our expectations. Very little dust (which surprised us!) and the overall result was stunning.We did have a problem with the oil on a few planks that was caused by mismatched planks when the floor was originally laid - these only became apparant a few days after when the oil started to fully cure.George and the team came back and solved the problem as part of the original quote - so we couldn't be happier.Floor looks absolutely stunning now and so much better than before.read more

The... first job was to refurbish the pine floorboards throughout our flat. George walked us through the details and provided test patches with options, ensuring we were happy with everything before we left our flat for the week. I would highly recommend George and his team. From the moment I contacted this company and throughout the whole process the customer care was... brilliant! Carol in the office was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the passion for the service they deliver that George, Steve and the team demonstrated was evident from the start. Steve did a fantastic job restoring a pine Parquet flooring in the lounge of our small period cottage which was in a bad state when discovered hidden under a carpet. Despite some unforeseen challenges along the way caused by a high moisture content in the original floor which extended the job for a few days, the team persevered and did not charge us for the extra days work. When the job was complete we noticed a few specs of dirt that had set in the lacquer whilst it was drying. The team came back and re-sanded and varnished the floor with no hesitation until we were completely satisfied. We were chuffed to bits with the end result which I didn’t think we would achieve considering the state of the original floor. When I was researching companies to do this work many wouldn’t touch my floor because it was too small a job. But George and his team showed the same level of care and attention to my floor as they would any other larger commercial space. I wouldn’t hesitate in using this company again!read more

George, together with Michael, deep-cleaned, stripped and sealed our very grubby York stone kitchen floor. It took 3 days and they were fastidious... about the whole process - taking utmost care with the newly decorated walls, moving heavy items of furniture and appliances, and even moved a new tumble dryer into position for me. I cannot fault their attention to detail and cheery, helpful and can-do attitude. George has even gone the second mile by sending me a specific cleaner for candle wax I spilt on my lovely new floor a month after it was cleaned. Sussex Floor Care Limited provided us with an exceptional carpet cleaning service. George communicated the processes he was going to be undertaking... on the lounge carpet in order to remove the stain, he also assisted in the moving of furniture in order to get to the stain, which reflected him in going the extra mile and an exceeding customer service. He was very lovely and cheerful upon arrival and during the carpet cleaning, all very professional and was also wearing PPE which was good to see him taking precautions within the current pandemic. I seldom do reviews: this time I just had to. I've struggled cleaning what I thought was a "pretend" stone floor of irregular pitted slabs in our... kitchen and utility room for 4 years, scrubbing every groove and trying myriad ways to keep a minimum of cleanliness. Finally my husband decided to get professional cleaning services, and the result was stupendous. George came in his full PPE to do a demo on a particularly nasty large square slab I picked out. He uncovered under the cheap sealing plastic-like film a lovely white-rosy hued REAL stone! He then explained what he would do, after taking measurements and checking the history of my cleaning experiments: a two step process, first deep cleaning, then sealing the next day, describing at length the products he uses which are biodegradable and safe for pets and crawling children. His quote was reasonable and his whole manner professional. As I trained as a geologist (!) I quizzed him over testing the stone, and found his scientific reasonings and tests valid. We booked for the job three weeks away as much preparatory work needed doing, acquiring a gazebo to house all the furniture etc. On the day, George worked like a shirehorse with the cleaning! He obviously loves his work and strives to get job satisfaction for himself, let alone to satisfy the client. We found him to be terribly thorough (including with follow up). The result was even more wonderful than the demo result; and the sealing (which took a good 48 hours fully to hold) makes sure we can clean spillages and stains easily. We feel our floor has been made new again, our kitchen looks so much better; and I have been shown the best methods to maintain it so. Last but not least, George has a caring and attentive manner which encourages one to ask questions.read more
We have the Bricklayers Arms in Crowborough and the wooden floors had layer upon layer of polish so was not an easy job to take on but George and his... company did. He is Very professional and helpful from beginning to end. George is a grafter and put in long hours to get the floors finished and the transformation of the floors was amazing. He cleaned up after himself so there was no mess left anywhere. If there was a slight snag or hiccup in the process George brought it to our attention straight away and also presented the answer as well at the same time. If you need any floors doing George's company is definitely the one to use. I would definitely recommend and use him again.read more

George worked very hard to eliminate a bad cat stain... that I had made worse by using various shop bought products.
